Quit Friendster.

That's right....quit Friendster. Cancel your account.

I did. It's something I should have done long ago. The one reason I kept the account open was as a link back to my personal website. Heh! Fat lot of good that did me considering my site statistics never did report any referrals from Friendster. But I digress.

This is the final nail in their coffin as far as I'm concerned:
Friendster Wins Patent.

What other reason would they secure a patent than to use it to "...protect their intellectual property”? Sell the service to the highest bidder? Right. Nobody's buying. So yeah, in litigious America, we all know what it means.

So I completely scrubbed my account. In the grand scheme of things, this is a hollow gesture. But it felt good anyway.

And it has absolutely nothing to do with the fact that women on Friendster completely ignored my messages. :)
